Hey Fit-Life Challengers,

We recently went to visit Healthy Creations, a great little bakery on the corner of Cabana and Dougall here in Windsor, to find out a little bit more about who they are and what they offer.  This place is 100% Gluten Free, it’s a family owed business and everything taste absolutely delicious. They are the only 100% gluten free bakery in Windsor and they have another great location in London too.

I brought home some goodies that day and I was stunned on how good their bread was and the cookies were to die for.  It taste nothing like the store bought that’s for sure.  I have been off and on a “gluten free” diet for the past year and for the first time I actually enjoyed a gluten free product and felt like I can keep this diet up.  See every time I eat anything with gluten I feel bloated.. like I’m 4 months pregnant.  I hate the feeling and not to mention an hour after I eat I feel like I need a quick cat nap.   It’s crazy how taking one thing out of your diet can make you feel so good.   I know there’s people out there even some friends of mine that think us “gluten Free” dieters are funny and its annoying that we feel the need to talk about it.. haha but the truth is if you tried to take Gluten out of your life for even a week you would see what the hype is all about.  I honestly feel way better, my stomach is always flat and my energy level soars.  So I guess when you feel and look great you want to share it.

So that was the reason for my visit to Healthy Creations , we wanted to meet the women behind the scenes and find out the scoop from her.   Since we have our 5 Fit- life challengers taking as much gluten out of their diets as they can and I have so many people recommending this little bakery, I had to go visit.  Yes there is gluten in A LOT of things that we eat.. even ketchup.  I myself just drop the major ones like breads, pasta and all the yummy deserts.  I am a huge bread lover… like I could eat a loaf of bread every day. So just taking the bread out of my diet made a HUGE difference in my life.

Stop in and see Chris, let her know we sent ya and she said she would add one of their delicious chocolate chip cookies to your order.

Thanks Chris for letting us come and visit you and also a big thanks for making such amazing gluten free food for everyone to enjoy.
