YOUR FIRST TASK: BE THANKFUL
So it’s thanksgiving weekend and everyone is feeling a little extra thankful for the people and things around them. It should be thanksgiving everyday, well, minus the turkey, potatoes and pies! The Fit-Life Challenge is all about improving the lifestyle of each contestant and inspiring other Windsorites to do the same. Being thankful for family, friends and for LIFE is a great way to live everyday and is the starting point for anybody wanting to make a true lifestyle change. When you are appreciative and thankful for what you have it makes everything else in your life easier to improve.
On another note, for all those who applied to be on this October’s Fit-Life Challenge, approach your thanksgiving meal with caution or maybe a little extra appreciation this year. You might be chosen, so as you go for that extra serving of gravy or that second piece of pumpkin pie, think about that extra butt kicking you might be taking to burn it off! Once this challenge begins, contestants will be following food plans that don’t include the gravy-covered thanksgiving dinner items.
But, before you have a minor panic attack wondering what it is you will have to cut out of your diet, let us tell you that in this challenge, contestants and viewers will have their eyes opened to an amazing menu of delicious and healthy options.
Follow along on windsoriteDOTca as we document the foods we are feeding contestants and you might be excited to see tasty healthy items such as Neviana’s Energy Bars.
