The Detroit Tigers are heading to the World Series after a 8-1 win this afternoon against the New York Yankees at Comerica Park.
The World Series starts on Wednesday, with the Tigers on the road. The Tigers will either play the St. Louis Cardinals and San Francisco Giants. Game 4 of that series tonight, with the Cardinals leading the series 2-1.
The Tigers last made it to the World Series in 2006.
