On Tuesday, the City of Windsor’s Poet Laureate Marty Gervais welcomes six poets from across Canada to historic Willistead Manor for a free public reading and discussion.
Gervais, as the City’s Poet Laureate provides a unique opportunity to promote poetry to a wide and appreciative audience.
The six poets are Elizabeth Zetlin of Owen Sound, John B. Lee of Brantford, Bruce Meyer of Barrie, Hugh MacDonald from Prince Edward Island, Roger Nash from Sudbury, along with Windsor’s own Marty Gervais will present a public reading and discussion. The event will also feature book signings and sales, literary giveaways, poetry-on-demand, and light refreshments.
The free evening starts at 7pm.
