Life After 50 Event, Classic Car & Bike Show Hits WFCU Centre This Weekend

Windsor-Essex’s only retirement lifestyle event takes over the WFCU Centre this weekend!

Life After 50 is a two day expo that will host over 80 vendors, including everything from large interactive displays to smaller hobbyist booths featuring Expedia Cruise Ship Centres, Freedom 55, Aerus Healthy Home Experts, Scooter Pro, and Thunder Road Harley Davidson.

The Canadian Tire Hobby Shop, a special area of the show, showcases the best in woodworking, gardening, exercise, stained glass, as well as volunteer and small business opportunities.

This year’s show will also feature a new outdoor experience created by Xcentrick AutoSports, producers of the Boblo Island Classic. The Windsor Chrysler Autumn Classix Car & Bike Show will be held on Saturday September 8th from 10am to 4pm. This free event will feature the hottest new cars from the Windsor Chrysler line-up, classics, custom builds and recreational vehicles like RVs, motorcycles and power sports. A barbeque, live DJ, and NASCAR tire change competition will be held throughout the day.

Admission for the Life After 50 event is $3 with the first one hundred visitors on Friday September 7th receiving a free gift. Proceeds will help support the show’s partners: Alzheimer’s Society of Windsor-Essex, Centre for Seniors, CARP, Council on Aging, and the Seniors Advisory Committee.

Life After 50 will be open on Friday September 7th, from 11am through 4pm, and Saturday September 8th, from 10:00 through 4pm at the WFCU Centre.
