Construction Well Underway at St. Clair College Schlegel Village Long-term Care Facility

Construction has started on a brand new long term care facility located on St. Clair College’s campus in South Windsor.

Shovels hit the ground for the new 256-bed facility on August 20th.

The building, part of the Schlegel Villages network of long term care facilities, will have an active partnership with St. Clair College which will include utilizing the space as a living classroom to foster research and hands-on learning for St. Clair medical students.

The $35 million dollar facility, which displaces a baseball diamond and field at the front of the College, will take two years to construct.
