Lifeguards at Windsor’s six outdoor pools will be raising funds for drowning awareness from August 4th to August 6th.
Lifeguards will be teaching how to use life jackets, tread water, swim in open water, swim with a buddy, and urge everyone to get involved in the endurance challenge.
Get some swimming tips from the lifeguards and then donate $2 to the Life Saving Society to take your Swim to Survive test. Recreational swimming at outdoor pools is offered from 1:30pm to 5pm from Saturday August 4th to Monday August 6th. Admission fees are $2 per person or $6.75 per family.
Two children under two years of age are free with a paid adult.
