Two Killed in Deadly Accidents This Morning

Essex County OPP are currently investigating two deadly accidents which occurred in the early morning hours today.
The first crash happened at Highway 3, just west of Highway 77 in Leamington. Police say that a cyclist was riding westbound on Highway 3 when they were struck from behind by a black Pontiac Sunfire, which was also westbound. The cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second crash happened at approximately 6am. Police say that a single vehicle rolled over on North Talbot Road between Hopgood Sideroad and Essex Road 23, just outside of the town of Essex.
The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
No names have been released in either accident pending notification of next of kin and the investigation remains ongoing for both.
