Missing Tecumseh Man Found Safe

UPDATED 9:20am:

Russell Hale, age 69 years, was spotted this morning walking on Manning Road, near Essex Road 22 in Tecumseh by a civilian, who then reported it to police.

The OPP in Tecumseh, along with the OPP’s Emergency Response Team, a Canine Unit and a Search Master, is currently searching for a 69-year-old male from Tecumseh who hasn’t been seen since Tuesday at 4pm.

OPP say that Russell Hale, left his residence on Essex Road 42 in Tecumseh, for a walk and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

Hale is described as having diminished capacity, is six feet tall, thin build, wearing glasses and walks with a distinct gait. He was dressed in grey pants, a white long-sleeved T-shirt and black boots. He was also wearing a NASCAR hat, has unkempt hair and is currently unshaven.

Police are asking the public to contact the OPP if he is located, at 1-888-310-1122.
