Skip the Parking Lots and Take the Bus to Fireworks on Monday!

The Detroit River Fireworks take place on Monday, and starting at 6pm on all city buses excluding the tunnel bus, you can ride for free.

Additionally, a park n’ ride shuttle service from Devonshire Mall to the downtown area will be free to passengers. The shuttle buses will begin operating from Devonshire Mall at approximately 6pm and continue until approximately 9:30pm. The return service begins immediately after the fireworks and continues until approximately 12:15am or until all passengers in line have boarded a bus to get back to their car.

For the fourth consecutive year, Zehrs greatfood™ stores have stepped up to the plate to make sure the region can ride the bus at no cost to enjoy the fireworks.

Once again this year, the Transit Windsor Board of Directors approved the collection of cash donations on board all buses after 6pm, with proceeds being donated to Family Services Windsor-Essex. All money will be collected on a voluntary basis.
