This Saturday, an auction will be held at the former home of General Chemical on Front Road in Amherstburg.
Once the towns largest employer, the plant closed a number of years ago, and has sat idle until last fall when crews started to dismantle the buildings to clear the site for future development.
Among the items up for bid are motors, valves, power tools, file cabinets, work benches, shelving units and electrical supplies. Other times include forklifts, trucks, lawnmowers and even a 1958 Locomotive. You can see the entire listing here.
Advance viewing is Friday from 9am to 5pm. The auction starts at 10am Saturday morning.
