Windsor’s new Downtown Beer Store is now open in its 6,800 square foot new location on Elliot Street East.
The Beer Store’s current Wyandotte Street location stands in the way of proposed improvements to the Windsor-Detroit tunnel Plaza and will be demolished in the coming months.
The new location is on the site of the former Sheldon’s Central Chrysler dealership located at 790 Goyeau kitty-corner to the Windsor Fire and Rescue Headquarters.
An additional 4,800 square feet of retail space will be added in the second phase of construction.
