Fire at Riverside High School

Windsor Fire and Rescue were called to Riverside High School around 6:30 Monday evening for a report of a fire.
When fire crews arrived they found fire on the roof in the area of the school’s gym.
Firefighters applied water to the roof and searched the school for extensions of the fire that may have gotten into the roof and walls. A second aerial was brought to the scene to assist in looking for hot spots on the roof.
The fire was out just after 8pm. Fire officials say the fire was contained to the roof over the gym.
