The Detroit Chevrolet Belle Isle Grand Prix hits the streets of Belle Isle Park this weekend and race fans from Windsor can still take advantage of a number of affordable packages to get right to the excitement.

Packages include roundtrip bus fare to and from the race as well as grandstand seats for the big event. Windsorites can also enjoy free concerts on Belle Isle and access to the Family Fun Zone. On Saturday evening, the B-52s will perform live beginning at 7:15pm, while Ronnie Dunn will take to the stage on Sunday afternoon at 2pm.

Ticket packages are still available at the Windsor International Transit Terminal, WFCU Centre and all five Customer Care Centres at Adie Knox Herman Recreation Complex, Optimist Community Centre, Gino & Liz Marcus Community Complex, Forest Glade Community Centre, and South Windsor Recreation Complex.

Race fans can choose from the following options:
Day Packages:
Saturday: $45.00
Sunday: $60.00
Weekend Package:
Saturday and Sunday: $99.00

All prices include the HST. Transportation bracelets will be provided with ticket purchase.

Departure from the downtown Windsor International Transit Terminal starts at 8am each day and runs on demand until 2pm.

Return trips Saturday from Belle Isle will begin running immediately following the race and continue running until 30 minutes after the concert ends.

Return trips on Sunday from Belle Isle begin immediately following the race, until all passengers are returned.

Transit Windsor reminds you that appropriate identification is required to cross the border in both directions.
