Next month marks the end of an era for the Windsor Symphony Orchestra, as Maestro John Morris Russell conducts his final show before heading off to his new gig as Conductor of the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra.

Maestro Russell will take his final bow in Windsor on Saturday May 12th at a evening concert at Assumption Church near the University of Windsor.

Because of huge demand this show sold out quickly, so a second has been added for Friday May 11th. Tickets for this show are selling fast, you can check out ticket and price details on the symphony website.

Farewell receptions are also planned to be held at all of the four final WSO concerts. Receptions will take place following the pops concerts on May 5th and May 6th at the Capitol Theatre and after John Morris Russell’s final two Masterworks performances on May 11th and May 12th at Assumption Church.

Reception tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door. The night will feature a cash bar and light refreshments. There is limited availability. You are asked to Call 519-973-1238 for advance reservations.
