On Friday April 13th, Mayor Eddie Francis delivered his annual State of the City Address to Windsorites. Mayor Francis said that Windsor can be proud of what we have achieved, and looked to the future. He spoke about the University moving programs downtown and said “Wait until you see what the University has in store for these city landmarks-you’ll be blown away.”
Mayor Francis also spoke of the city’s plan to diversify included making Windsor a centre for Aerospace manufacturing, and how we will see our first electric pilot buses on city streets this summer by a Chinese company called BYD (Build Your Dreams) in hope to make Windsor BYD’s North American test market for its latest technologies.
