Plans are in the works for a new A&W drive-thru restaurant, and two retail stores in front of Walker Road’s Canadian Tire.
AMT Walker Development Corporation is planning to construct a 140,145 square foot commercial plaza on vacant land that sits on the edge of Walker Road.
The new plaza will feature 13,587 square foot of landscaped space, 89 parking spots and will house 16,056 square feet of commercial floor area.
Construction is expected to get underway later this season.
