Girl’s Body Recovered from Lake St. Clair

Just after 1pm today, the OPP Underwater Search and Rescue Unit recovered the body of 18-year-old Amy Wagner from Windsor.
Police say that Miss Wagner was located in 6ft of water, 500 meters off shore, in the area where she was last seen by witnesses.
Miss Wagner and a 18-year-old male were out on a canoe when it over turned in 4 feet of water Sunday. Both teens attempted to walk back to shore, but only the 18-year-old male made it back.
Police say that the Coroner’s office will be ordering an autopsy.
