Tecumseh Santa Parade and Christmas Fun, Friday Evening

The Town of Tecumseh, Optimist Club of St. Clair Beach, and the Tecumseh BIA have partnered together to present an Evening of Christmas in Tecumseh, this Friday.

The evening includes carols, the parade, tree lighting and more.  Here is an outline of the nights festivities:

6:00 p.m.  Outdoor Marshmallow Roast (Tecumseh Arena)
6:00 p.m.  Balloon Twisters (Tecumseh Arena)
6:00 p.m.  Kids Craft Table presented by Scholars Choice (Tecumseh Arena)
6:15 p.m.  Christmas Carols led by school choirs (Town Hall)
6:30 p.m.  Town Crier announces the start of the parade (Tecumseh/Manning Roads)
6:30 p.m.  Santa Parade
7:00 p.m.  Free Public Skating (Tecumseh Arena – 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.)
7:25 p.m.  Christmas Lighting led by Santa (Town Hall)
7:30 p.m.  Arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus (Tecumseh Arena)
8:00 p.m.  Jangles the Clown (Tecumseh Arena)
8:45 p.m.  Christmas Movie with Popcorn (Tecumseh Arena)
9:15 p.m.  Festivities End

The parade starts at Tecumseh/Manning Roads, will travel west on Tecumseh Road to Lesperance Road and will proceed to Town Hall.

In keeping with the spirit of the season, organizers are asking  that you help support the Tecumseh Goodfellows and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul by donating non-perishable food items or new/gently used mittens, gloves, hats and scarves. Donations will be collected along the parade route and at Tecumseh Arena.
