City Extends Public Rink Skating Hours

If your looking for something to keep yourself or the kids busy for a few hours while off from work or school, the City of Windsor has extended the hours for both outdoor rinks.

Charles J. Clark Square Rink located downtown is open from 8am to 10pm now until December 31st where it will close at 3pm. The rink will be closed New years Day and then open from January 2nd to January 8th from 8am to 10pm. Regular hours for supervised public skating will then resume on January 9th. No hockey is permitted on this rink and all schedules are weather permitting.

Lanspeary Lions Outdoor Rink in Lanspeary Park in the heart of Ottawa Street is open from 1pm to 3pm until December 30th. It is closed on January 1st, and open January 2nd to January 6th and January 8th from 1pm to 3pm. It will be closed on the 7th. The Lanspeary Rink is also available for private rentals, with extended hours for the holiday season.
