Windsor Santa Parade Looking for Funding From City

The Windsor Parade Corporation is looking for sponsorship from the City of Windsor in the amount of $3,630 for the 2011 Santa Clause Parade.
The majority of the money will be used to pay for insurance, which is required by the City for all special events. Other costs are for barricades and a special events permit.
City Council will hear from the Parade Corporation on Monday November 21st.
This year’s parade kicks off on December 3rd at 6:00 pm from Atkinson Park, heading west down Riverside Drive to Old Sandwich Towne ending at Brock Street.
