Volunteers Needed for 2012 Skate Canada Championships in February

The local organizing committee for the 2012 Skate Canada Synchronized Skating Championships are currently accepting applications for volunteers for the event being held from Thursday February 23rd through Saturday February 25th, 2012 at the WFCU Centre.

Approximately 1,000 skaters will descend upon Windsor to compete for national titles in senior, junior, open, intermediate and novice categories. The top two senior teams will represent Canada at the 2012 ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships.

Applications can be found on the WFCU Centre website and then click on the 2012 Synchronized Skating Championship page.  Various positions including security, dressing rooms attendants, ice captains, registration clerks, awards people, transportation and runners need to be filled.   Applications must be received by December 15^th, 2011 for consideration.
