Riverfront Trail Reopens After Extensive Construction

Closed since before the last Red Bull Air Races were in town, Windsor’s riverfront is now entirely open from end-to-end.

As part of a series of Federal Infrastructure Projects, a stormwater retention treatment basin was installed under an existing parking lot East of the Riverfront Festival Plaza.

Work crews also took the opportunity to redo sections of trail between the Basin and the Bert Weeks Memorial Fountain.
