Police Investigate Arson at “The Blind Dog” Downtown

Windsor Police are investigating an arson to a building in the downtown core.
Just before 1am this morning a Windsor Police officer on patrol in the 600 block of Ouellette Avenue saw and smelled smoke coming from a building known as the Blind Dog.
Police report that their officers found the rear door to the building facing Pelissier Street had been forced open, and Windsor Firefighters at the scene reported that they had discovered a number of different ignition points inside the building and that the fire was deliberately set.
Arson Investigators from the police Arson Unit are on scene this morning conducting an investigation.
