A cold airmass combined with clearing skies and light winds will allow temperatures to fall to just below zero in most areas tonight. As a result, widespread frost is expected to develop. The exception may be those locales adjacent to the Great Lakes, where temperatures will be moderated somewhat due to the relatively warm waters and overnight lows could be a few degrees warmer.
