Walkerville for Africa Looking for Yard Sale Donations

What began with the inspiration of two Walkerville students, Liam and Lucas Palmer, has turned into a large school community event.

On Saturday, September 24th from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm there will be a huge yard sale on the West Field at Walkerville Collegiate Institute, with all proceeds going towards helping those affected by the famine in Africa.

Students, staff, parents and community members are coming together donating items, volunteering and raising awareness of this human tragedy.

The school is still looking for more donations. If you would like to contribute something to the yard sale contact Ms. Lynda Palmer at the school at 519-252-6514.
