The University of Windsor opens their 2011-2012 season this weekend with Much Ado About Anything.

“Thou and I are too wise to woo peaceably.”

With love at first sight and witty battles of words, this is a beautiful love story of two couples – the adoring Claudio and Hero and the fiery Beatrice and Benedick. Everything seems perfect until the evil Don John conspires to break up the unions, and nearly spoils this light hearted comedy. But thanks to a blundering constable who uncovers the treachery, tragedy is avoided, and the lovers can celebrate a joyous ending.

The show runs Thursday to Saturday at 8:00 pm and Sunday at 2:00 pm.  It also runs next week Wednesday to Saturday at 8:00 pm and Sunday at 2:00 pm.
