Windsor Public Library and Android Team up to Launch Mobile Application

The Windsor Public Library announced that their Android application is now available. Back in July the Library launched its iPhone application.
The work in conjunction with Bibliocommons and make it easy to manage your account, search their materials, get branch information and hours and much more twenty fours hours a day.
Both the iPhone and Android application are available at the iTunes store and are free of charge. The Library is one of seven public libraries in Canada with these customer tools. BIBLIOCOMMONS is a new search and find tool that allows you to find what you’re looking for in an enhanced and improved environment. It incorporates many familiar social networking features, which means library users can contribute information to the catalogue and interact with each other. The application features an extensively-researched interface design, and a thoroughly tested technology platform, that resulted from an 18 month period of multi-library testing and development.
