City Moves Forward on Family Aquatic and Library Complex Proposal

The City of Windsor is movinfg full steam ahead with the new Aquatic and Library Complex and will issue Request for Proposals (RFP) for a multi-disciplined team with experience in project planning, conceptual design and the development of design/build proposals for the new family aquatic and library complex proposed for downtown Windsor. This team will assist the City of Windsor in developing the request for proposals for the new facility.
The family aquatic and library complex is proposed to be built on a parcel of land known as the former Western Super Anchor site, the area bounded by Church Street on the East, University Avenue on the South, Bruce Ave on the West and Pitt Street on the North. The complete council report and preliminary site plan can be obtained on the City’s Website.
The d ocuments will be available from the City of Windsor on June 29 and the RFP will close on July 22 and a recommendation will be made to Council following evaluation.
