Making a gingerbread house is no simple task (unless of course you cheat and you buy graham crackers and that makes a world of difference). And still, these houses took a couple of hours, cutting the pattern pieces, assembling the pieces, decorating the house. The joy is really in the making, of the coming together to work on all the steps that are required to build a gingerbread house from (almost) scratch.
And the best part is having a wonderful teacher like Janice Hogan who will share her secret recipe and make it fun for all.
Have fun, my friends, and Merry Christmas!
