Reader Walter Petrichyn sent us a detailed, to-the-minute neighborhood news tip this morning:
Around roughly 2:30 AM on December 24th, 2010, a fire erupted in the 2300 block of Meighen Rd. Firefighters have been asking neighbours to leave their houses as they have been working for over half an hour to put the fire out. The house is 2318 Meighen, and there are no accounts on the well-being of the people inside the house. A police car is stationed at Meighen and Ypres to block off the hazardous accident.
