Pathway to Potential, a Windsor-Essex group dedicated to reducing poverty is hosting an All-Candidates Event at the Windsor Public Library tonight — and you can attend, meet, greet and get to know a variety of people running in this October’s Municipal Election.
Pathway to Potential’s website states that the “event is open to all municipal candidates from both the City of Windsor and the County of Essex as well as School Board Trustees”, and a number of registered candidates are already on the RSVP list for the event on Facebook.
We’re told the event will break people into groups and let the public have micro-discussions with candidates and community members about issues relating to poverty and the cost of living in Windsor.
And yes, it’s open to the public!
Interested in going and hearing what those working toward a better Windsor have to say? The event starts tonight at 6:30 at the Windsor Public Library’s Central Branch, 850 Ouellette Avenue, in the library’s basement “Fred Israel Auditorium”. It runs until 9pm.
