Shoplifter Tries to Run Down Store Employee; Road Rage in LaSalle

Both Windsor Police and LaSalle Police are after a middle aged female suspect who tried to run over a store employee at the Value Village on Walker Road in Windsor.

The incident occurred around 5:30pm as Value Village employees were chasing a woman who was running out of the store with several stolen items. The suspect got into her vehicle and nearly ran over an employee while fleeing the scene.

The suspect was last seen driving northbound on Walker Road. She was driving a black Ford Focus, partial license plate AK____. She is described as being a heavy set, middle aged female and was wearing a green shirt at the time of the incident.

The suspect is believed to reside in LaSalle.


LaSalle Police are also on the look out for a middle aged man involved in a road rage incident which occurred on Front Road in LaSalle around 5:45pm.

A middle aged man driving a black 2003 GMC Sierra pickup truck was cut off by a construction vehicle. The man driving the pickup truck exited his vehicle and smashed out the window of the construction vehicle with a baseball bat. He immediately fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a white male, middle aged, 220-240lbs, bald, with a dark goatee, and wearing a white shirt and black shorts.
