Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for Windsor and Essex County.
A disturbance crossing the province is tapping moist air from the Northern States. As a result, areas of drizzle and fog are developing across portions of Southern Ontario.
The fog should become more widespread and locally quite dense in the overnight hours into Saturday morning. A cold front will help whisk away the damp foggy conditions on Saturday.
They warn that visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero.
