Hello time traveller!!

Students and staff at Dr. David Suzuki Public School are collecting shoes to help out a good cause.

The school has joined the local philanthropic organization “Enable Haiti” to collect gently-used shoes for people in need in the small Caribbean country.

Haiti is still struggling to recover from a devastating earthquake in January 2010.  Many people are still without appropriate footwear for work or play.

The Dr. David Suzuki community is cleaning out their own closets and soliciting donations from their neighbours and friends.

They have also challenged the Anderdon Public School Mustangs to match them shoe for shoe.

The collection will continue until March 13th.
