Windsor Regional Hospital says that their clinical team has examined a patient who had earlier has shown Ebola-like symptoms and they now say that Ebola has been ruled out. The patient is being treated for a totally unrelated health issue.
Witnesses told windsoriteDOTca several ambulances were seen this morning near the CAW Student Centre at the University of Windsor. Paramedics were seen dressed in protective suits.
Symptoms of the Ebola virus include fever, sore throat, headaches, muscle pain and develop into vomiting, diarrhea and rash. In severe cases, Ebola causes bleeding both internally and externally.
While it can’t be contracted by spreading through the air, Ebola can be contracted through blood or bodily fluids.
