During this November’s Downtown Windsor Winterfest Parade, hundreds of runners and walkers with their dogs all dressed up will take to the streets for the Santy Paws 4K Run/Walk.

Finishers will be awarded a medal to hang on their tree as an ornament and when they register they get an LED flashing dog leash.

“I just love the idea of having all those festive runners and walkers with their four legged friends all dressed up enjoying their time on the parade course,” commented Chris Uszynski- Race Director and founder of RunningFlat. “We need more family events downtown and this one is great on so many levels, the whole family gets involved (even the dog) and they stay and watch the parade!”

The race takes place in the afternoon of November 30th.

Pledges from the race go to benefit the Humane Society. Participants are asked to raise money through online pledge forms and donations. More information can be found online here.
