At 3:52pm, Environment Canada issued a severe Thunderstorm Watch for Windsor-Essex.
Isolated thunderstorms are possible early this evening over Southwestern Ontario. One or two of these storms may be briefly severe, due to wind gusts and hail.
A hot and humid airmass across Southern Ontario has the potential to produce scattered thunderstorms across the above mentioned regions late this afternoon and into the early evening hours. A few of these thunderstorms have the potential to produce severe weather with heavy downpours, 2 cm hail and winds up to 90 km/h as the main threats.
