Walking inside Taloola Café is like entering the parlour of an eccentric aunt.

The café’s interior is warm and inviting with plenty of interesting details: brick wall interiors, engaging wall art and fringed lamps add to the one-of-a-kind atmosphere. The staff are warm and friendly and work diligently creating tasty and eye pleasing beverages, soups, salads and sandwiches.

Taloola Café strives to serve wholesome foods that are free of artificial flavours, pesticides and preservatives. They also have several vegan and gluten free options including many tasty desserts.

All of Taloola’s coffees use weekly roasted organic/fair trade coffee beans and they offer an extensive variety of teas, including: Organic Plum Oolong tea, Moroccan Mint green tea and Cinnamon Plum Botanical tea, just to name a few. There are several cold drinks on the menu too and they are LCBO licenced to serve specialty spirited coffee or tea drinks, fine liqueurs, wines and beers.

On the weekend customers can indulge in their long list of specialty French Toasts such as The Alberto (cheesy French Toast with Salami-prosciutto in-between), The Ruby Green (cheesy French Toast with red onion, tomato and spinach in-between) or the The Tutti Frutti (cheesy French Toast with homemade compote in-between). There are many other breakfast options to choose from.

Between 4-6pm on Tuesdays through Saturdays visitors can partake in High Tea and enjoy some creamed cheese & chutney fingerlings, fin crackers, mascarpone, preserves, raw vegetables & dips, lavender shortbread and chocolate bonbons.

Taloola Café is a great place to meet up with friends or to make a solitary visit to enjoy an exotic tea and a delicious baked good. They are open Tuesday – Friday from 7:30am – 10pm, Saturday from 8:30am-11pm and Sunday from 10am-4pm. Closed Mondays. Located at 396 Devonshire Road with plenty of free street parking available.
