The doors were flung open today at Windsor’s largest thrift store.
Goodwill Industries opened the 18,000 square foot retail space by thanking sponsors and cutting a ribbon.
The store, which is approximately double the size other chain thrift stores in Windsor, features aisles and aisles of clothing, outerwear, furniture, home decor, electronics, accessories, jewellery and much more.
Goodwill’s four local attended donation centres collect items to be sold at the new location, which will be working to support the community with a variety of programs.
Almost two dozen people lined up for over an hour to wait for the store to open at 9am.
The new store is located on McDougall just north of Tecumseh Road East.
