Campus Radio Station CJAM To Hold Ward 7 By-Election Debate

University of Windsor campus radio station CJAM will be hosting a two hour candidate’s debate next Wednesday October 30th.
The debate will be hosted by Rose City Politics, a weekly radio program airing on CJAM dedicated to providing a ‘diversely subjective view of issues impacting Windsor/Essex County politics.’
The radio stations says that so far eight of the nine officially registered candidates have indicated they will attend.
CJAM Station Manager Vernon Smith commented “I am so pleased that CJAM will have the opportunity to air the first candidate’s debate for the Ward 7 by-election. CJAM strives to promote democratic engagement and a robust and diverse political discourse. Airing this debate featuring nearly the entire field of candidates helps us to fulfill this commitment to the community with respect to this by-election.”
The debate will take place from 7:30 to 9:30 in the St. Clair room of the WFCU Centre and can be heard live on 99.1 FM.
