Autism Ontario Windsor Essex and Global Spectrum Facility Management have teamed up to assist with fundraising efforts for Autism Awareness Month.
The Puzzle Piece is one of the most recognized symbols for autism, and Global Spectrum hopes to create the largest puzzle ribbon in the country. This weekend, the outdoor concrete patio outside the WFCU Centre will be transformed in to a patchwork of squares, and Global Spectrum is asking for the community to help complete the artwork during the performances of Sesame Street Live at the WFCU Centre on October 26th and 27th.
Supporters can log on to www.wfcu-centre.com and make a donation to reserve their square, and over the weekend visit the WFCU Centre to colour their two foot by two foot reserved square. Donation amounts start at $10, and donations over $20 will receive a charitable donation receipt. Patrons not wishing to colour a square but still make a donation can do so online. Donations and reservations will also be accepted in person at the TekSavvy Box Office located inside Gate 2 of the WFCU Centre.
Those attending any of the four performances will be able to Adopt A Square and make a donation in person. Thanks to the generous support of our partners, all donors will also receive discount options for select shows coming to the WFCU Centre, the Windsor Spitfires, and the Windsor Express, plus a gift bag featuring products from Kernels Popcorn.
