A small fire broke out early this morning at the now closed Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Riverside Drive East and Drouillard.
Fire crews were called to Ford City landmark just after 7am and a small fire was discovered by a lower window.
The fire was quickly extinguished and crews spent a few hours removing smoke from the building.
Windsor Fire says that the fire was intentionally set,and are asking anyone who say anything to call Crime Stoppers.
Damage is pegged at $5,000.
The church has sat empty since it was closed by the Diocese of London in 2007.
