The 2013 Windsor Essex County Secondary School Athletic Association (WECSSAA) Championships are set to tip off this weekend at the WFCU Centre.
Four games including the Tier I and Tier II boys basketball finals at both junior and senior levels will be held this Saturday starting at 10:15am, prior to the Windsor Express home game against the Moncton Miracles.
The schedule for the WECSSAA Championships is as follows:
Tier II Junior boys – Cardinal Carter vs. St. Josephs @ 10:15am
Tier II Senior boys – Essex vs. General Amherst @ 12:00pm
Tier I Junior boys – Herman vs. Catholic Central @ 1:45pm
Tier I Senior boys – Holy Names vs. Catholic Central @ 3:30pm
The all city championship awards will be presented during half time of the Windsor Express game later that night. Doors open for the WECSSAA Championships at 9:30am. Day passes for the WECSSAA championships will be $4 for adults and $2 for students, available at the door.
Fans at the WECSSAA Championships will also have the opportunity to check out the Windsor Express vs. Moncton Miracles game for an exclusive WECSSAA price of $4 per ticket.
