Windsor Police keep the intersection clear in front of Assumption High School

The Ambassador Bridge is closed due to a bomb threat. The threat was received by US officials just before 8pm this evening.

Windsor Police have both entrances to the bridge closed, and trucks are backing up down Huron Line. Commuters heading to Detroit are advised to take the tunnel.

This is the second bomb threat at a Windsor-Detroit border crossing in a week.

Police are inspecting the Bridge at this time.
