Bunnies, Brunch & Baskets: 9 Ways To Celebrate Easter In Windsor Essex

Original blog by Tourism Windsor Essex

The Easter Bunny is hopping into town early this year. We’ll barely have time to recover from St. Patrick’s Day and it will be time to decorate some eggs, put together a delicious meal to share with loved ones and fill those Easter baskets to the brim. We’ve put together a list of nine ways to celebrate Easter in Windsor Essex with everything from bunnies to brunch and of course ever-popular Easter baskets! For more fun Easter activities and meals head to our Windsor Essex Easter Guide.

BUNNIES

PHOTOS WITH THE EASTER BUNNY

Move over Santa, the Easter Bunny has come to town! Make a stop to visit our favourite spring friend: the Easter Bunny and grab a souvenir photo to remember the moment. The Easter Bunny is visiting Devonshire Mall and Tecumseh Mall from March 9th to 30th and Colasanti’s Tropical Gardens on Good Friday and Easter Saturday.

EASTER EGG HUNTS

The Easter Bunny is coming to town and he’s leaving a trail of eggs for you to find! Colasanti’s Tropical Gardens will feature a mini golf egg guessing game: keep your eyes open for the Easter eggs hidden around the course then submit your guess at the end for a chance to win a Family of 4 Activity Deal. Colasanti’s will also be hosting an Easter Scavenger Hunt from 11am to 2pm on Good Friday and Easter Saturday. Bring your fur baby’s out for their very own Easter Egg Hunt at the National Service Dogs Annual Easter Egg Hunt for Dog taking place Friday March 29th at Malden Park. Check out our Easter Guide for more Easter Egg Hunts in LaSalle and Belle River too!

SEAN KENNEY’S ANIMAL SUPER POWERS EASTER WEEKEND

Time is running out to check out Sean Kenney’s Animal Super Powers at the Event Centre at LaSalle Landing! Bring your bunnies for some family fun on Thursday March 28th from 5pm to 9pm and visit with a stilt walker as he soars above the crowd or Saturday March 30th from 9am to 3pm. Check out the juggler from 12pm to 3pm for your chance to learn some cool juggling tricks! (Please note: the exhibit will be closed on Friday March 29th for Good Friday and Sunday March 31 for Easter Sunday).
