New Playground Coming To Willistead Park

The City of Windsor Parks Department has begun work on a new accessible playground at Willistead Park.
The new playground will be custom designed and themed with elements inspired by Willistead Manor’s architecture. The structure will be accessible and feature a ramped gazebo, play panels and rubber surface. A large tube slide, swings and climber are also being included. The new playground will be located in the same location as the existing one.
The existing playground will be the closed until the new one is complete. All walkways and seating outside the construction area will continue to be available to the public during construction.
Construction is expected to be completed by the end of May 2023.
