Sunday September 11th, 2022, 12:25pm
Hello time traveller!!
This article is 825 days old.
The information listed below is likely outdated and has been preserved for archival purposes.
Starting Monday, September 12th crews will be sealing cracks on a number of asphalt trails in parks throughout the city.
The process helps to reduce the amount of water entering the cracks over the winter, thus decreasing the opportunity for the trail surface to heave during the freeze/thaw cycles. The regular maintenance greatly extends the life of trailss.
The city says there will be minimal if any disruption to park users, and asks you to give space and go around any crews you come across working on a trail.
Work will be done in the following parks:
- Ernest Atkinson
- Malden
- Southwood Lakes
- Captain John Wilson
- Central
- Ford Test Track
- Garry Dugal
- McHugh
- Maurice Belanger
- Wildwood
- Realtor
- Seneca
The work should be completed by Wednesday, September 14th, 2022.
