Lakeshore is inviting community members to help create a vision for the future of Stoney Point Community Park during an upcoming Community Visioning Drop-in Session.
The session will be hosted at the Stoney Point Community Park pavilion on Thursday, June 9th from 3pm to 7pm. Participants may attend at any point during the session. They will be asked to review material then provide their feedback about current park usage, what they like and dislike about the park, as well as their vision for the future of the park and potential multi-use community hub facility.
“We’re excited to hear what community members and park users have to say about the future of Stoney Point Community Park,” said Mayor Tom Bain. “We have already received some great ideas through the survey, and this is the next step towards ensuring the park development reflects the vision of community members and users.”
Information gathered during the drop-in session, as well as responses from the online survey launched in March, will guide the design of a park concept plan, which will be presented to the public for another round of community input.
