Essex Region Conservation held an Earth Day tree planing event on Sunday with the goal to plant 2,300 native trees in the City of Windsor.
It was held in the little river corridor trail green space near Florence and Wyandotte.
The trees were supported by Enwin Utilities, Tree Canada and the LCBO, and CUPE 543.
